Nimbus launches World Cup inclusions ranges

Specialist food inclusions company Nimbus Foods hopes to capitalise on World Cup fever by producing a special range of football-shaped crispies in the colours of competing companies.

The crispies, which are 2mm in size, are available in 7.5kg boxes. They can be used as decorations and toppings for cakes, biscuits, doughnuts and ice creams and are available in red, white, blue, orange, green, yellow and brown colours.

"World Cup fever is just around the corner and we felt that our colourways provided an ideal opportunity for manufacturers of baked goods, desserts and ice creams to capitalise on the tournament as the UK is likely to become a nation of snackers whilst matches are underway,"' said Managing Director of Nimbus Foods, David Wynne. "The beauty of these crispies is that product decorations can be changed to follow the fortunes of each competing country, enabling forward thinking companies to maximise their sales right up to the Cup Final."

Nimbus's newly launched Crunch range contains Rainbow Crunch Colours and Rainbow Crunch Flavours, which can also be harnessed to provide a range of appearances, textures and flavours to complement World Cup fever.

Rainbow Crunch Colours, which are unflavoured and use only natural colours, include red, yellow, pink, green orange, lilac, blue, white and brown. Meanwhile, Rainbow Crunch Flavours offer a range of options including coffee, honey, honeycomb and amaretti together with a selection of fruit and citrus flavours and for nut-free sites there is a peanut crunch version of Nimbus NeverNuts, a specialist range that provides the texture and flavour of nuts but without the associated issues.

For guaranteed delivery of these product ranges in time for kick-off on 9th June, orders must be placed by Friday 21st April 2006.
